Food Network stars John Henson and Stephanie Boswell have stunned viewers after announcing their engagement.
The television personalities, who have both appeared on Halloween Baking Championship since 2021, revealed their bombshell news on social media much to the surprise of their fans who had no idea they were romantically involved.
Taking to Instagram on January 14, both Henson, 58, and Boswell, 42, uploaded a photo of the acclaimed pastry chef showing off her huge engagement ring as she rested her hand on top of her soon-to-be husband’s hand.
Captioning his upload, comedian Henson wrote: ‘My love, Stephanie Boswell, and I are making it official.’
He then joked: ‘Can anyone recommend a good pastry chef? We’re going to need a wedding cake…’
Responding to the post, Boswell commented: ‘My perfect love! You make every day brighter and I can’t wait for all our beautiful days to come! (and yes, I can recommend a pastry chef for the cake).’
Boswell also encouraged her followers to ‘stay tuned’ for her bargain dress hunting as she shared the news.

Taking to the comments, one wrote: ‘Omg I had no idea you are a couple. Congratulations! This makes my heart happy!’
‘Omg didn’t know they were dating! Now I love the shows even !’ another said.
A third posted: ‘How did I miss this coupling? I love everything about this!’
‘Who would have thought the Halloween Baking Championships would be so romantic?’ asked another. ‘You’re both wonderful, I wish you the best!’
Echoing a similar sentiment a fifth said: ‘What the WHAT?!? Did you meet on Halloween Baking Championship? Either way, Congratulations!’
Henson is the current host of Halloween Baking Championship while Boswell serves as a judge alongside Carla Hall and Zac Young.

It’s not yet clear how long the pair have been an item.
Henson was previously married to Corie Hirschtick from 2000 to 2006 and actress and comedian Jill Benjamin for 14 years until their divorce in 2024.
He has two children from his previous relationships.
