The interface uses Oppo’s Luminous Rendering Engine, which ensures smooth transitions in all user interface elements by fully controlling the visual components. This motor maintains consistent and smooth performance even under high pressure when running multiple applications at the same time. It’s joined by the new Trinity Engine, which manages system resources at the processor level for smarter performance. This engine intelligently allocates resources as needed, prioritizing speed during multitasking while simultaneously improving power efficiency, making the system faster and more stable.

According to OPPO tests, the ColorOS 16 interface has become noticeably faster; The speed of opening applications increased by 28%, and loading times decreased by 21%. Processor consumption has also been reduced by up to 14% during normal use. In terms of design, the company says that the interface design is inspired by the interaction between light and shadow, to provide a comfortable and elegant visual experience. The lock screen now supports animated backgrounds, whether images or videos, and has added wider font options and a full-screen Always-On Display feature to further customize the lock interface.

As for the Apps screen in ColorOS 16, it comes with a new option known as Flux Home Screen. It allows users to quickly resize icons and folders into multiple shapes to customize the look of the home screen more easily and flexibly.
