Hoda Kotb’s Daughters Hope And Hailey Dress As Cheerleaders For Halloween

Hoda Kotb‘s kids are cheering on the spooky season.

On Halloween, Kotb, 61, shares photos of her daughters Haley, 8, and Hope, 6, dressed as adorable cheerleaders.

In the Instagram picturesHaley wore a black-and-yellow Pittsburgh Steelers cheerleader costume. Her younger sister appeared to be dressed as a Buffalo Bills cheerleader.

This isn’t the first time that Kotb and the girls have dressed up for Halloween.

Last year, Kotb wore a pumpkin orange jumpsuit while her daughters also dressed as cheerleaders. Hope opted for a blue cheerleader costume while Haley wore a purple cheerleader uniform. This marked the first holiday the group celebrated since moving out of New York City and into Westchester.

While speaking to PEOPLE in August 2024, Kotb opened up about moving her family to the suburbs.

“I want my kids to feel grass on their feet, and play in the yard, and ride bikes down the street, and run up and down the stairs,” she said. “I just see that life for them in this perfect house in this beautiful little town where I know they’ll be able to blossom into beautiful, independent, strong women.”

When the family still lived in New York City in 2023, they also dressed up for Halloween. That year, Kotb wore a rainbow costume with knee-high rainbow socks, a pair of sunglasses and red lenses.

Hope, meanwhile, was dressed in a multicolored one-piece suit with butterfly wings. Haley wore a Wicked-inspired Glinda the Good Witch dress and crown.

Last month, Kotb opened up about being an older parent during an appearance on the Open Book with Jenna podcast.

“I’ve often thought about being an older mom,” said Kotb. “And it was funny. I was just reading something and, you know, a lot of moms start at 20, 25, 30, even 35, when you don’t know anything about who you are. You’re imparting your parents’ values on your kids. You’re just doing what we all do.”

“Sometimes when people would say, ‘Oh, you’re an older mom,’ I kind of get an ouch, even though it’s true,” she continued. “Sixty-one with a third grader and a first grader. Anyway, I am kind of sitting in the fact that I come with wisdom now.”
