Dylan Efron Gained Nearly 20 Lbs. During Dancing With The Stars

Dylan Efron is feeling stronger than ever after competing onDancing with the Stars.

On Tuesday, Dec, 2,TheTraitorswinner, 33, posted a video on his Instagram Stories showing him stepping on a scale and weighing in at 189 lbs. He revealed that he gained weight after being on the reality dance competition show.

“Probably TMI but I’m fascinated with this stuff. I weighed around 175-178 lbs. (80kg-ish) at the start ofDWTS,” he wrote. “By week 3, I went down to 170, they had to take in my waist on my pants … a lot of cardio and wasn’t eating enough.”

“By the end of the show, my pant size was back to normal and I felt stronger,” he continued. “I gained about 15-20 Ibs. during the season, biggest thing I changed was eating protein … protein shake every night and just meat. But I feel so much stronger than before.”

Efron placed fourth onDWTSafter making it to the season 34 finale alongside fellow contestants Robert Irwin, Alix Earle, Jordan Chiles and Elaine Hendrix. Irwin took home the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.

While Efron said that the experience made him stronger, fans have also taken notice as the star is often flooded with praise about his physique. This summer, he and his older brother Zac Efron38, went viral after posting a thirst trap

on Instagram of the pair golfing shirtless together.

In the clip, which was captioned “Sticks,” Zac is first seen taking a big swing with a golf club while shirtless. He then looks back at the camera and shows off his abs while shrugging with an impressed look on his face.

Dylan then appears sitting next to Zac, as the pair are both shirtless, while riding in a golf buggy. The brothers are seen in the following clips taking turns at playing golf while posing, still shirtless, on the golf course.

Fans shared their excited reactions to the video in the comment section. “And suddenly, I’m interested in golf?” one follower wrote.

“Never thought I’d be jealous of a golf course but here we are,” another person commented. “I was not ready 🔥,” a fan added.

Zac and Dylan have a reputation for getting fans riled up with their shirtless photos.

In September 2023, the brothers went viral for posting a shirtless snapshot of themselves posing together by the water on another golfing and boating trip.
