In the shared video footage, two people can be seen removing ornaments from Carey’s Christmas tree.

Sporting a purple sweater dress, the Queen of Christmas then rushes to stop them before they get too far.

“No! No! No!” Carey, 56, exclaims in the clip, as her 2025 single “In Your Feelings” plays in the background.

In December 2025, the R&B icon’s Christmas classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You” became the first holiday song to reach 2 billion streams on Spotify.

In a statement to PEOPLE, Carey said the achievement was “beyond incredible.”

“I’m so grateful to all Spotify listeners around the world who’ve made the song part of their holiday tradition year after year,” she added.

Per the streaming platform, “All I Want for Christmas Is You” became the most-streamed holiday song of all time in both in the U.S. and around the world. The song has grown 120% globally on Spotify in the past five years, according to the company.

Since 2016, Carey’s hit has also been the No. 1 song globally on Spotify on Christmas Day every year.

To wrap up the holiday season, Carey returned toDick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacreston Wednesday, Dec. 31 nine years after dealing with a technical difficulty during a set of “Auld Lang Syne,” “Emotions” and “We Belong Together” on the same show.

This time, however, Carey successfully rang in the new year from Las Vegas with three of her hits: “Obsessed,” “It’s Like That,” as well as her recent release “In Your Feelings.”

Carey’s three-song performance in 2016 didn’t go as planned due to audio issues, as she was unable to hear the backing track of her hit “Emotions.”

“We didn’t have a (sound) check for this song, so we’ll just say it went to No. 1, and it is what it is,” she said, as she continued through the performance.

During her final song “We Belong Together,” the audio track didn’t line up with her vocals, and a frustrated Carey walked off stage.
